A Glass Half Full

Scope and Contents

This series consists of records - mostly forms, with one image ("Beer Mask") - that were collected as part of a Brewchive(R) initiative to document the pandemic's effect on San Diego's craft brewing industry.

Forms asked the following questions:

1. How has COVID-19 changed your life? How has it changed your work and/or employment? 2. How has social distancing changed how you work? If you are operating a business, how has social distancing changed your business operations? 3. Have you missed a momentous life event (business opening anniversary, fund-raising event, competition, etc.)? 4. If you are working remotely or are not currently employed with the industry, how are you staying connected with the brewing community (Zoom meetings, online classes, etc.)? 5. Do you think that COVID-19 is going to have permanent, long lasting effects on the craft brewing industry? If so, what effects do you think the pandemic will have? 6. What are you most looking forward to when the pandemic passes?
