Laundry Day Episode 1: Students and Covid, 2020-12-09

Identifier: togetherApart-221

Scope and Contents

A short podcast episode of a conversation between three students and how they're coping with their schoolwork. For this episode, Laundry Day aims to provide a space for students to vent about the frustrations they've been experiencing with the shift to being online. While the safety of the public should be our top priority, it would be a lie to say the life that we have structured for us now and the foreseeable future is an easy one. And while we won't know about the long-term effects of the actions that came out during the stay-at-home order, I wanted to at least shed some light on how students are currently being affected, both academically and mentally. This episode questions how the guests are feeling about currently being enrolled into online courses, what they feel they missed out on due to having to take classes remotely, and what lessons they've taken from their experiences so far
