Work From Home?, 2020-04-21
Scope and Contents
On April 20, 2020, I posted this on Facebook: Why can't our leaders put forth a rational response instead of either under or over reacting to this nasty bug? Now is the time to tell folks that, with cautionary and health conscious measures in place, America is open for business, that those who are or feel vulnerable or health compromised should continue to shelter at home until they feel safe to join our healthy population. It is high time that Americans relearn how to care for themselves at home. Perhaps this is one very good thing that many have come to realize in the midst of this crisis, but I need the beach in order to maintain my health, peaceful state of mind and emotional balance! I haven't touched a living soul for over 2 months, when my livelyhood depended on newborn babies to feed, soothe, rock and care for. "House arrest" is unfair punishment for a healthy grandma-for-hire like me! So, I have come up with a work at home alternative! When most Americans are stressed to the limit for one reason or another, I have set up a Venmo account for those who might like some natural remedies suggestions, ideas and experienced problem solving for families, children or for those who are dealing with PTS, on top of everything else. If you could use a video chat to assist you in dealing with it all, PM me and I'll see if I can be of help. After 50 years of professional healthcare training and experience, with the guidance of a wonderful RN Mom and "natural remedies" Grandma, I have plenty of tips, suggestions and techniques on hand to assist you. Keep calm and carry on!
