Community oral histories

Scope and Contents

This series contains oral histories of members of California State University San Marcos's regional service area, roughly San Diego County north of Interstate 56, from the Pacific Ocean and eastward into the mountains and desert around Anza Borrego State Park, south of Orange County (including Camp Pendelton), and southwestern Riverside County. Community oral histories contain a wide focus of interviews relating topics, organiziations, and places important to those who live, work, study, and play in this service area, and have themes related to national and international issues and interests.
