Folder contains materials relating to intern Michelle Ohnstad who was a student of SJSU's School of Library and Information Science and enrolled in an internship for LIBR 294 course. She interned at Pala Library. During the course of her internship, she weeded, arranged, classified, and cataloged books in the children's room, as well as developed colorful signage and cataloging scheme. Folder includes emails between Ohnstad and Biggs regarding Ohnstad's interest in interning at a tribal library for her MLIS program; meeting Doretta Muisik at the Pala Library; and Pala's database and hard drive issues. Folder also contains other emails between Ohnstad, Debra Hansen, and Judy Weedman regarding Pala Library's internship announcement. There were three versions of this announcement: two in 1998, and one in 2000 Folder also contains Ohnstad's resume, as well as the two copies of the "Evaluation of Practicum by the Site Supervisor, School of Library and Information Science, San Jose State University, LIBR 294," which was completed by Biggs for Ohnstad.
