Scope and Contents
Developed by Jacqeline M. Borin, November 27, 2001; Coordinator, Reference & Electronic Resources, Library & Information Services, CSUSM. Assessment is divided into two sections: the library assessment and plan/policy, and an appendix. The assessment and plan/policy discusses the current state of the library; its srength as an organization; its needs in terms of staff, technology, and resources; and recommendations for future directions for the library. The appendix includes a workstation and software inventory of all computers in the library.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research. Some materials have been restricted because of FERPA or concerns with Personally Identifiable Information. Select items/Contents have been reformatted and have digital access copies. Access to original [audio tapes, video recordings, etc.] is restricted; researchers may request viewing copies. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm. Final requests for materials must be made one hour prior to closing. Please submit requests for archival materials at least 24 hours in advance of desired appointment. Materials requested over the weekend will be available on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
