Folder contains talking points, news releases, news articles, and statements from Ron Packard during 2000. Topics mainly focus on agriculture; water and shoreline projects; INS Checkpoints and immigration; military projects; legislation protecting American tourists in Mexico; aviation and transportation; Sergeant Johnson's detainment in Mexico; Social Security, Medicare, and tax relief; and endorsement of Temecula Mayor Jeff Stone for the 66th Assembly district race. The folder also contains fax transmission sheets with the biographies of those seated at the head table for the Advanced Power and Energy Program’s Power Park Summit and Luncheon, suggested talking points, guest list, and the event's schedule.

Conditions Governing Access
This collection is open for research. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm. Final requests for materials must be made one hour prior to closing. Please submit requests for archival materials at least 24 hours in advance of desired appointment. Materials requested over the weekend will be available on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
