Folder contains a collection of newspaper articles from Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times as part of Ron Packard's efforts to promote support for the Cunningham amendment against the Bentsen Amendment; a Congressional Record from the House of Representatives in which Packard pays tribute to Roy A. Haubert dated July 17, 1998; a booklet, including cover photograph of Ron Packard as a young child with his family, containing a biography of the Packard family; news release praising Packard for securing funding for highway and transportation in San Diego County; H.R Statement from Packard regarding transportation funding; Packard's talking points regarding Temecula/Murrieta Chamber of Commerce at the Annual Washington Breakfast, January 16, 1998.

Conditions Governing Access

This collection is open for research. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm. Final requests for materials must be made one hour prior to closing. Please submit requests for archival materials at least 24 hours in advance of desired appointment. Materials requested over the weekend will be available on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
