At focus is the opposition to a proposed amendment to the Energy and Water Appropriations Bill called the Visclosky-Oberstar-Borski Amendments. The actual details of the amendment are included, as well voices that both offer support and criticism to and suppport of the proposed amendments. The argument falls on whether or not the wetlands should be seen as a place in need of protecting, or if less restrictions on using the wetlands were needed.
