Scope and Contents
Folder contains information on the Foothill South Toll Road. The creation of this toll road was project furthered by Congressman Packard and the Orange County Transportation Corridor Agency (TCA) in the Transportation Appropriations Bill H.R. 4328. The Foothill Transportation Corridor South lied solely in California's 48th district, which was the district belonging to Congressman Packard. Letters, bills, documents, and maps included focus on various aspects of this toll road. Also included are details about California State Route 241 on parkland within Camp Pendleton under the proposed Defense Authorization Bill for FY 1999.

This collection is open for research. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm.
