Scope and Contents
Folder contains information on the Otay Mesa Airport Study. This study looked to see the viability of the creation of a commercial airport on Otay Mesa in San Diego. Included are correspondence to Congressman Packard and Congressman Natcher, about the push to continue the project. The project needed more funds from appropriations for the upcoming year. Also included are other transportation projects, including a look at the highway system and rail system in the LA, Orange, and San Diego County areas.

Conditions Governing Access
This collection is open for research. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm. Final requests for materials must be made one hour prior to closing. Please submit requests for archival materials at least 24 hours in advance of desired appointment. Materials requested over the weekend will be available on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
