Folder contains correspondence with Representative Ron Packard, constituents from Orange County, and fellow Congressmen. Letters and documents included address concerns, support, and funding requests for various programs and policies within Orange County, mainly focusing on environmental, water, and military projects. The folder also contains Charles V. Smith's testimony on water development projects before the Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, the Orange County Coastal Coalition Legislative Platform Overview, and the 2000 Federal Legislative Briefing on Water Issues for Orange County. Conditions Governing Access

This collection is open for research. The Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room is accessible by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm. Final requests for materials must be made one hour prior to closing. Please submit requests for archival materials at least 24 hours in advance of desired appointment. Materials requested over the weekend will be available on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
