"Fire investigators from several North County fire departments took part in a training course on ways to extinguish various types of fires in an area at 1154 Foothill Drive, Vista, last week. Fires were intentionally started in three abandoned structures, and the firemen were required to determine their origin. Among fire departments represented were those from Vista, Poway, Fallbrook, Escondido, Oceanside, Carlsbad and other North County communities."
