Scope and Contents
"These eight-foot-pipes will cross the bed of Lake San Marcos to form a section of the aqueduct which will carry water from the Feather River to San Diego. A temporary dam has been built across the lake to lower the "floor" of it so that the huge pipes can be installed. Officials say the pipes will be installed and the lake restored next month."
