Library holdings are thirty-four issues spanning five volumes and three title changes. Library holdings contain gaps. Underground tabloid style newspaper with local content and reprintings. News, events, reviews, interviews, cartoons. Regular columns were published in the paper, including:

• bag of beads by Dale Herschler: Herschler often opined about a variety of topics related to counterculture. He was also arrested for contributing to the deliquency of a minor (a teenager who was selling Door newspapers), and covered his experience in the newspaper. Herschler was aquitted.

• Coffee house colendar by Buell Kazoo: a run-down of local happenings at coffee houses.
• Coming Events by Roger B. Stovold: upcoming musical acts.
• Eyesight to the Blind by Nehi Brown: A folk music column.
• Fraud of Public Welfare by Raymond P. Schwartz: A column covering various aspects of Welfare and how the ins and outs of the law worked in regards to public assistance. Also published as "Welfare Today."
• HIPpocrates by Eugene Schoenfeld, M.D.: The HIPpocrates column went by various similiar names in the paper (Hippocrates, HIP Pocrates, etc.) and was syndicated out of the Berkeley Barb. HIPpocrates was a physician who authored a column about medical issues of importance to readers
• Iconoclastic Spastic: A lifestyle column.
• Krome Kollector Kazoo: S.D. Folk & Blues Scene by Lou Curtiss: Music column focused on the local folk and blues scene.
• Movies: Movie reviews.
• Russell's Corner by Dick Russel: Russell was the owner of the Candy Corner, a local coffeehouse/venue. Russell's column was an opining of whatever was on his mind that month.
• Shop Scene, The, by Virgina Curtiss: focused on stores and shopping in Old Town San Diego.
• Shorts: small news blurbs of relevance to readers.
• Stereoscopes: music reviews.
• Swinging Scene, The, by Suzy: a column for the polyamorous set, affiliated with the Sexual Freedom League.
• Tracks by Roger B. Stovold: Album reviews.
• Trials: Local and national trials of significance to readership. Usually of counterculture or right-wing figures.
