Scope and Contents
Alex White is a Chamorro activist who experienced a two week long Chamorro immersion program histed by the Prugraman Sinipok organization. In this interview, he speaks on his experiences growing up in Colorado, his engagement with Chamorro culture, and his path to learning the Chamorro language.

Biographical / Historical
Alex White is a person of Chamorro descent who is involved with the Prugraman Sinipok cultural immersion program. In 2024 he, along with other students, met in San Diego as part of the immersion program. During his time in San Diego, White sat down for an oral history interview at California State San Marcos's University Library with the Special Collection department. The purpose of the interview was to establish how the Prugraman Sinipok program helped to teach people about Chamorro culture and how Chamorro culture has changed over time.
