The California State University San Marcos University Library oral histories collection consists of oral histories collected by the university through various means, starting in 1989 and continuing to present day. Oral histories include interviews of campus and community members relevant to our service region (north San Diego County, southwestern Riverside County, and to a limited extent the rest of San Diego County.
Celebrator Beer News publications
Holdings include the complete run of Celebrator California, Celebrator, and Celebrator Beer News magazines. Celebrator Beer News Magazine and its ancestor titles were newsmagazines focused on the craft brewing industry of the United States.
Cross-Cultural Center records
The Cross-Cultural Center records document the creation and operations of California State University San Marcos's longest running social justice center at CSUSM. Additionally, the records document activities related to various other campus units and organizations, including student orgranizations.

Records from the CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care at CSUSM, which relate to the history, operations, planning and implementation, and funding of the institute. Fact finding study of social and economic conditions of Indians of San Diego County, California, and reports from specialists in allied fields
A report on Indigenous tribal reservations that was commissioned by the San Diego Board of Supervisors in 1932. The report investigates the feasibility of closing the reservations and moving Indigenous families to allotments around San Diego.
First year GEW STEM student zines
A collection of STEM student zines related to a class project in understanding genre and audience for a GEW 101 class in fall 2024. GEW 101 is a principles of written communication class that must be completed as a GE for completion of the undergraduate requirements at CSUSM. The subject of each zine was created based on the personal and/or research interests of the individual students.

Green Flash Brewing Company, Incorporated Business Records
Documentation and realia covering the lifespan of Green Flash Brewing Company, Incorporated in San Diego County, CA for the years 2001-2022. Includes some documentation for affiliated/predecessor companies (Traditional Brewing Services, Inc., Le Brauerie Hand Crafted Ales, Inc., and North County Brewing, Inc.) and successor company GFBC, Inc. Documents include contract brewing services, purchase of Alpine Beer Company, and expansion activities nation-wide and internationally.
Green Tiger Press collection
The Green Tiger Press collection was assembled by the California State University Library with the assistance of Green Tiger Press owner/publisher Jerry Macchia. The collection concerns the history of the Green Tiger Press, a fine printing press that ran out of San Diego, California, and later San Marcos, California.
