Biographical / Historical

“A serviceman’s newspaper.” Published by the Movement for a Democratic Military. There was a splintering of the MDM and serviceman’s papers that happened in 1970 and Attitude Check likely ceased publication at that time. All Ready on the LEFT and Black Unity were created as subsequent publications and/or alternatives to Attitude Check. Attitude Check and the related descendent papers were geared towards military members with leftist politics, and were published out North San Diego County for Marines based at Camp Pendleton.
